Psychiatry is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illnesses and disorders. Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in evaluating and managing the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to mental health and well-being.
